It involves short trips for natural experiences and places that you’re perhaps not familiar with. So take Smutturen and make discoveries in the surrounding area.
The aim of the Smutturen is to increase the profile of and interest in publicly-accessible and perhaps overlooked natural locations in Denmark, in order to attract more visitors. When you visit smutturen.dk you will be asked for permission for Smutturen to use your location. If you accept this, you can then use the site’s integrated Google Maps function and get directions to Smutturens various locations. This function only works if you give permission for your location to be used.
The Short Trip was developed by Realdania in collaboration with VisitDenmark, Dansk Kyst- og Naturturisme and the Danish Nature Agency.
